Behind the doors of Alpha Boxing Gym in Leadgate, County Durham, sits a story that reaches far beyond boxing.

The Untold Story follows the life of Alpha Boxing founder Andrew Connor - a deeply personal documentary exploring the experiences, relationships, battles and turning points that shaped the man behind the gym.

This is not a promotional film.

It is an attempt to capture a life honestly.

Through intimate interviews, cinematic observational footage, archive material and conversations with the people who lived parts of the journey alongside him, the film will gradually piece together a story that, until now, has largely remained untold.

Production will continue over the coming months, documenting not only Andrew's past, but the present-day world surrounding Alpha Boxing: the gym, its people, its community and the role boxing can play far beyond what happens inside a ring.

Alongside the documentary, a series of podcasts, short films and behind-the-scenes production pieces will allow audiences to follow the story as it develops, creating a living documentary project rather than simply revealing the finished film at the end.
